Dr. Josh Cole: Praying the Psalms — Prayed by David, faithful Jews, Jesus, and Christians down through the centuries, The Book of Psalms is the prayer book of the Bible. Join us Wednesday nights as we look at the different "states of the soul" represented in these prayers. Fellowship Hall - Elder Ginger Steadman will be facilitating a Women’s Bible Study on the Book of Isaiah: Striving Less and Trusting God More by Melissa Spoelstra. The study consists of seven DVD sessions including a study guide. We will be meeting upstairs in Room 201 at 6:00pm. To request a study guide, please text Ginger at (601)926-8819.
- John McElroy: Twelve Ordinary Men: How the Master Shaped His Disciples for Greatness, and What He Wants to Do with You by John MacArthur; The twelve apostles were key figures in the ministry of Jesus; most of them would go on to have significant roles in forming the early church. Due to how important their work was, we often forget that they were just like me and you: ordinary people with their own flaws. This series will explore the known lives of these twelve (or thirteen) ordinary men, and how God’s calling for them set their place in history.
